Former Governor Gutierrez declines to primary Bordallo.

Big News in the lone federal election race for Guam: According to a report from the Pacific News Center, "former Governor Carl Gutierrez says he will not run for congress and is instead giving his full endorsement of fellow democratic candidate Madeleine Bordallo."(http://pacificnewscenter.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=23321:video-gutierrez-will-not-run-for-congress-instead-endorses-madeleine&catid=45:guam-news&Itemid=156)

While the Democrats have a slight advantage heading into the election had there been a primary, without one the election rating for this race has now become LIKELY DEMOCRATIC HOLD.

Republican Senator and current Legislative Minority Leader Frank Blas will still give Del. Bordallo her strongest challenge since defeating former Governor Joe Ada in her first run for the Washington seat so this race does have the opportunity to get tighter as the election nears, however as we mentioned above...the seat is the Democrats to lose.
