So in the grand scheme of things, a member of the majority party of the United States House of Representatives (a party who self describes it to be strongly pro-military) and who many of the pro-buildup people here on Guam share at least that ideology with has said that the United States Senate is blocking the progress of the buildup. Which is funny, because there seems to be a small group of people here on island who will go to war and shed blood to project the image that a few Guam senators are the major blocking force of the buildup.

When it comes to assigning blame for the lack of progress on the buildup, maybe we should pay attention more to those who are actually near to the center of power in Washington and who knows what is going on behind the scenes instead of trying to blame local senators for political purposes.
